Shimabukuro has lots to celebrate. He recently released his latest CD “Grand Ukulele,” produced by Alan Parsons, who helped record the Beatles “Abbey Road” and Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” album. Last month, Shimabukuro premiered his new documentary “Life on Four Strings” at the Hawaii International Film Festival before a packed house at Hawaii Theatre. Then followed it up with a great solo performance.
